PoppyPlaytime Chapter 3 Trailer #1 !

On December 11, the 1st Gameplay Trailer of Chapter 3 of PoppyPlaytime was posted on the Mob Entertainment channel !

We will now give you a summary of everything we can see in this Trailer !

Smiling Critters

We are now sure, Chapter 3 of PoppyPlaytime will focus on the Smiling Critters. They will probably be the enemies we will have to face. For now we are 100% sure that there will be CatNap and DogDay

New Mechanics

This Trailer reveals new mechanics that will be implemented in Chapter 3.

In addition to the green hand (which we will keep in Chapter 3), we will have a purple hand, which will allow us to propel ourselves in the air or forward. It is also possible that there are other hands. New types of puzzles are also present in this chapter, but we don't yet know exactly how they work.

Gas Mask

The long-awaited Gas Mask mechanic will indeed be present in Chapter 3 ! It will protect you from the deadly gas spewed by CatNap.

Returning Toys

Toys and monsters present in Chapter 1 and 2 will make their return in Chapter 3 !

In the trailer, we see Kissy Missy and Poppy, so we're sure they'll be back in Chapter 3 ! They seem to be on our side, and seem to want to help us kill CatNat and the Prototype. On a TV, we also see Huggy Wuggy with black eyes and different teeth. He might be back, but it's NOT at all sure. Huggy is displayed on a TV, like the tapes in the game, so it's possible that this is just a tape telling us about Huggy's story.

New Monsters

The trailer reveals 2 new monsters: CatNap and Dog Day. CatNap will probably be the main antagonist. DogDay seems to be evil, we see him chained then freed, running after us. We can imagine that Dog Day was imprisoned by CatNap, because CatNap "considers the protype his god, and does 'that' to heretics".

And... ?

In the trailer, you can see this pile of toys. It may be the Prototype, but it's not the most plausible theory. It's more likely that this pile of impaled toys (and this human skeleton??) is what "CatNap does to heretics", as said in the trailer. We will have more information soon !

Delayed to 2024

In a press release, developers Zach and Seth Belanger announced that Chapter 3 will be postponed until 2014, in order to ensure that Chapter 4 is as high quality as possible !
