PoppyPlaytime Chapter 3 Trailer #2

Today, the 01/24, the 2nd Gameplay Trailer of Chapter 3 of PoppyPlaytime was posted on the Mob Entertainment channel !

Photos

The trailer begins with a sequence of 3 images showing, for the first, dead childrens in beds, accompanied by scientists with gas masks. The 2nd shows a photo of 4 childrens with scribbled faces, and the 3rd talks about a Bigger Bodies Initiative on a child named "Theo".

Playcare
Then we have shots of the Playcare, showing us everything there was for the children :

• An orphanage
• A school, where children learn. What ? Good question... But that's probably where we'll meet the weeping angel, the character who teleports in the trailer
• A dormitory, where the children sleep, with ? Catnap :) ?
• A playhouse, where we'll be chased by DogDay and maybe Catnap
• A toy store, we do not yet know its usefulness
• And a concelor's office

Other Places :
In the trailer, we can see other different places in the trailer like :

• Where the train crashed at the end of Chapter 2 (this is where Chapter 3 will begin)
• A kind of dilapidated underground, where the pile of impaled toys and skeletons is
• And place that is apparent to the Playhouse (again where we'll be chased by DogDay and maybe Catnap)

New Hands

We see 1 new hand in the trailer (2 with the purple hand that we already knew) :

• A hand gun, which must be loaded with ammunition and which shoots fireballs, allowing you to light up your path or hit monsters.
• The purple hand which allows you to propel yourself through the air by touching a pad provided for that.

New Mechanics
We can see many new gameplay mechanics in the trailer, some of which we know:

• A sniper system to shoot your hand at a very precise location for certain puzzles
• A box of energy that must be sent into a hole to power doors (for example)
• A car, which you can start with a wrist in the back, which rushes and destroys what is in front
• A new type of puzzle that will have to be done using the sniper (we saw it in the first trailer)
• The gas mask allowing you to survive in Catnap gas
• The gun hand that shoots and illuminates what is in front

Catnap

Here is the antagonist of Chapter 3... : Catnap. We will probably meet him in the Playhouse, and maybe in other places, but we don't know where yet.

News Monsters

New monsters, other than Catnap, will be present in Chapter 3 :

• HUGGY WUGGY IS BACK !? Or not, maybe it's a Catnap illusion...? We don't know, mmmh...
• Bobby BearHug : He's standing still, looking at us, and that's it... Maybe we'll fight him in Chapter 3 ?
• Poppy & Kissy : They were there in the first trailer, but this extract shows us that they are (visibly) on our side.
• A Mysterious Character : The developers told us about a new female character, who will be very mean to us, maybe it's her. She teleports and appears to resemble an animatronic.
• Mini DogDay : In the first trailer we saw the real DogDay chasing us in the Playhouse, but in the second trailer, we see a tiny DogDay chasing us (to get him to leave us alone, we have to shoot him with the hand gun)
• Prototype... VHS... ? 

Release Date :
